Electronic Recycling Day collected
a total of
900 Electronic Items in 5 hours on April 14, 2007
This event was made possible by a grant from TCEQ,
administered by HOTCOG, and working in conjunction with the
Commissioner's Court of McLennan County, the HOT Fair and Rodeo, the
City of Waco, and Keep Waco Beautiful. 35
Volunteers from MCC Departments of Geology, Biology and
Environmental Science, and The SPURS, all made this event
happen. Additionally Kenneth Young, Elaine Alexander, Robert
Gordon, Shirley Blanton, Vicky Cohen, John Cameron Orr, Sherri Street,
and Frames, Etc. gave of time to insure greater success for this event.
